Ring of gold, silver, diamonds, mosaic with lapis and turquoise tesserae, and a moonstone with reversely engraved intaglio of a clam with a pearl enclosed inside it.
Every year, a young boy spent his summer holidays with his family at the same Aegean coastal town, dreaming of joining Jacque Cousteau's crew when he grew up. He spent every day of those vacations swimming in the sparkling waters with a snorkel and mask, scanning the colorful seafloor. One night, he came across a shell in a dream that he would never forget. The shell opened up, as if it had been waiting years just for the boy, and showed him a huge pearl hidden inside. The dream ends and the child opens his eyes feeling how lucky he was. Years passed, and the boy grew up into a master jeweler, not an underwater scientist. But he still fits that never-forgotten feeling into a tiny ring.
