Ring of gold, silver, and a diverse array of diamond cuts, featuring an emerald engraved with a domed architectural motif using the reverse intaglio technique.
At the centre of the ring lies an emerald engraved with a domed architectural motif using our atelier’s signature reverse intaglio technique. This method carries a high risk of breakage even on more stable stones and is especially demanding when applied to emerald due to its natural fragility. Carving into an emerald is not only technically complex but also irreversible in terms of the stone’s value, making it an exceptionally delicate process. The domes within the stone are shaped in reference to the Grand Bazaar, where Sevan Bıçakçı spent his apprenticeship and laid the foundation of his craft.
